YouTube Trimmer
As great as YouTube is, containing pretty much all material recorded by man ever, the general clutter does often annoy me. Comments are a particular grating point, generally consisting of 12 year olds or spam. This script tries to rectify that, and then some.
First things first, this script currently only works on the beta version of YouTube. If you know what that means, or see a link to switch to the beta version in a yellow box, click that. Otherwise, view a video, then add ‘&v3′ onto the address and hit enter. Now that’s done with, onto the script!
This might not be too useful for laptop or small screen users, as I designed it to make the most use of a 1280×1024 monitor. The general idea was to cut out anything unnecessary, mainly the comments, but also sponsored videos and other bits here and there. The result is a page that fits in the window without scrolling, and with a slightly larger video area. See below!

Feature #2: Often the video’s a bit too small for my liking, but I still don’t want to go full screen. This script adds a ‘zoom’ link after the title of the video, allowing you to hide all the other page elements and make maximum use of the room for the video. Again, see below!
